The function of disc pads is to stop the vehicle when the brake pedal is depressed, by brake fluid being expunged from the master cylinder and forced into steel brake pipes and into brake calipers which in turn clamp down on brake pads, clamping the rotating brake discs to stop it.

Personal Experience with Ferodo Brake Pads

I own a Honda NC750X Motorcycle since new, after a short period of time I found that I needed to replace the rear disc pads, I did so, but not with Ferodo but a lesser known brand out of Korea, not knowing that these Brake Pads were available in the Ferodo brand.

Needless to say the replacement Rear Brake Pads wore down even faster than the original ones and were exceptionally noisy.

Then I learned that my local Motorcycle Auto Parts Center had the Brake Pads for my Honda in stock, I jumped at the opportunity and promptly fitted Ferodo replacements to my Honda NC750X, they are still in there at the time of this article 8 months down the line, and looks like it will last 8 more. this episode served to cement my faith in the Ferodo Brake Pad brand.
